About Us

Strategy With Structure, Storytelling, and Soul

MAP Strategic Consulting, LLC was founded by Maxine A. Petty, an experienced strategist, educator, facilitator, speaker, and leadership professional committed to helping people and organizations maximize their potential. MAP was created from a simple belief: meaningful change begins when people feel seen, heard, valued, supported, and equipped to move forward.

Organizations often have strong people, good intentions, and ambitious goals but still struggle with engagement, alignment, communication, culture, or implementation. MAP helps bridge that gap. Our work combines strategy with human connection so organizations can move beyond checking boxes and begin building systems and experiences that actually work for the people they serve.

MAP Means:

Maximizing
Identifying strengths, possibilities, resources, and opportunities for growth.

All
Recognizing that sustainable success requires the inclusion, engagement, and development of every stakeholder.

Potential
Turning ideas, abilities, relationships, and opportunities into meaningful action and measurable impact.

Meet Maxine A. Petty

Founder & Principal Consultant, MAP Strategic Consulting, LLC
Creator of the 4N’s Framework™ | Strategist | Speaker | Facilitator

Maxine A. Petty is the Founder and Principal Consultant of MAP Strategic Consulting, LLC and the Creator of the 4N’s Framework™: Name, Need, Nurture, Navigate: a people- centered approach designed to strengthen relationships, identify meaningful needs, build
capacity, and create clear pathways toward sustainable outcomes.
With a professional background spanning psychology, education, family and community engagement, leadership development, strategic planning, and human services, Maxine brings a unique combination of insight, empathy, strategy, and practical application to her work.

Known for blending storytelling, structure, and soul, Maxine helps leaders and organizations move beyond surface-level solutions to create meaningful experiences, stronger systems, and intentional strategies that maximize potential and expand possibilities. Through consulting, professional development, and speaking, she challenges audiences to examine not only what they are doing, but how, why, and for whom they are doing it.

Her philosophy is simple: When we Name who people are, understand what they Need, Nurture what helps them grow, and help them Navigate what comes next, we create the conditions for people and organizations to thrive.

Maxine's Philosophy
People do not simply need to be managed. They need to be understood.
Families do not simply need to be invited. They need to be engaged.
Employees do not simply need direction. They need intentional leadership.
Organizations do not simply need ideas. They need a strategy for implementation.

WHY MAP?

Because Strategy Without Connection Rarely Creates Sustainable Change

Organizations choose MAP because we understand that meaningful improvement requires both people and process.

We help organizations:
-Identify what is really happening
-Listen to stakeholder voices
-Strengthen relationships
-Build leadership capacity
-Create practical systems
-Clarify priorities
-Align actions with stated values
-Develop usable tools
-Move from ideas to implementation
-Build sustainable practices

Our goal is not dependency.
Our goal is capacity.
When the engagement ends, your organization should leave stronger, clearer, and better equipped to continue the work.

THE MAP APPROACH

We Listen.
We begin by understanding your organization, people, priorities, strengths, and challenges.

We Assess.
We identify gaps, opportunities, barriers, and existing assets.

We Strategize.
We develop recommendations and solutions tailored to your goals.

We Build.
We create tools, resources, systems, training, and structures that support implementation.

We Equip.
We help leaders and teams build the capacity necessary to sustain the work.

We Navigate.
We establish actionable next steps and a clear path toward progress.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

-We believe connection is the curriculum.
-We believe people should be seen before they are served.
-We believe effective engagement begins with listening—not assumptions.
-We believe leadership is about impact, not position.
-We believe families should be treated as partners, not participants.
-We believe organizational values should be experienced—not simply displayed on walls.
-We believe sustainable change happens when strategy and humanity work together.

-We believe every organization has potential.
-Sometimes it simply needs a better MAP.
